| From 2010 | Working team leader of Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and sea (IMELS) for the evaluation of ecological and carbon foot printing for companies (i.e San Benedetto e Osklen group) and universities (i.e. University of Rome Tor Vergata and Ca’ Foscari in Venice) in different economic fields. The projects, based on specific methodology, aimed at measuring the impact of different activity in private and public sector both in terms of natural resources and CO2 emission. In this framework, participation at IMELS national program for CO2 emission reduction and international environmental cooperation program in Brazil, China and Mediterranean area. |

| From 2010 | Project leader for Twinning Program between Italy and Montenegro financed by European Commission for the realization of the Environment Protection Agency in Montenegro. Twinning aimed at creation of technical and administrative structure for the Ministry of Environment in Montenegro for the protection and monitoring of environmental quality according to UE normative. |

| From 2010 | Project leader for IMELS participation to the “Project of Offshore Wind Energy: Research, Experimentation, Development (POWERED)” aimed to define a set of strategies and shared methods for the development of the off-shore wind energy in all the Countries overlooking the Adriatic Sea. | |
| From 2004 | Responsible for Task Force for Central Eastern Europe of IMELS Task Force, with local offices in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania is composed of 50 experts both Italian and local. During last 7 years more than 120 projects has been implemented in the framework of bilateral agreements on environmental protection and sustainable development. The projects refers to 5 principal activity lines 1. Assistance to local Governments for Kyoto Protocol ratification and Designated National Authority implementation responsible for Clean Development Mechanism Projects (CDM) in the framework of Kyoto Protocol. 2. Implementation of 80 CDM projects with Italian companies participation, that consist of using efficient technologies and innovative management systems for energy consume reduction in industrial sector, for electricity generation with renewable energy, for increasing afforestation and reforestation for carbon capture. 3.Institution of an incentive system for renewable energy In accordance with European laws and standards in renewable energy sector and in relation with CDM projects promotion, the definition of a national law system has been set for the application of incentives for renewable energies in the framework of electric market liberalization. 4.Support to sustainable development. Task Force provided assistance to the local governments for the preparation of National Strategy for sustainable development that represents an important key for UE access. In this framework 30 pilot projects have been implemented for sustainable planning in the land use, for air quality protection in urban area, for sustainable agriculture protection, sustainable mobility and sustainable tourism. 5. Management of coastal areas and water resources. 10 projects have been implemented in the common program called “ADRICOSM” , with the participation of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania. The projects aimed at the realization of a short-term estimation and real time monitoring system of marine current variability for the protection of coastal area and the management of both natural water resources and industrial and urban wastewater. The projects have been implemented in collaboration with European Commission, World Bank, EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), UNEP ( United Nations Environment Program) UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), UNOPS (United Nations Office of Project Services), OSCE (Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe) etc. |
