Montenegro ENERGY GENERATION FROM WOODY BIOMASS IN NORTHERN MONTENEGRO Power generation
The objective of the project is the construction of a regional electrical generator with 3 MW installed net capacity and annual electrical generation of around 23,4 GWh exported to the grid, using biomass residues (wood from forest and wood from sawmills) as fuel. The available biomass residues could be obtained from the wood processing industry and mainly from forests, owned by wood processing companies.
Serbia AWMS PROJECT FOR METHANE RECOVERY AT PP “POBEDA” FROM BACKA TOPOLA Methane recovery
The objective of the project is to collect and combust methane from the manure treatment system of the swine hoggery by transforming existing lagoon into covered anaerobic digester. That would lead to emission reduction through transformation of generated methane into carbon dioxide through the process of combustion of digested biogas. This project is representing a improvement of common practice of Animal Waste Management System (AWMS) in the Republic of Serbia.

Albania ENERGY EFFICIANCY AT THE BALLSH REFINERY ALBANIAN REFINERY MARKETING OIL COMPANY (ARMO) Energy efficiency
The objective of the proposed project activity is to reduce GHG emissions by introducing different energy efficiency measures to the Ballsh Refinery of ARMO (Albanian Refinery Marketing Oil Company). The emission reductions are ought to be achieved by increasing energy efficiency through reducing heavy fuel oil and electricity consumption in the oil chain industry with a very high energy intensity.
