Macedonia / Demir Kapija, Gradsko, Negotino, Stip, Sveti Nikole, Veles AFFORESTATION IN CENTRAL MACEDONIA Forestry

In the semi-arid region of Central Macedonia, within the territory of the Municipalities of Demir Kapija, Negotino, Gradsko, Veles, Stip and Sveti Nikola, around 30.000 ha16 of bare lands, and degraded abandoned agriculture land and pastures, have been identified as eligible for afforestation under the CDM. The project area is the state-owned land, managed by the Municipalities.
